Methodology
Rope Access, is a working method that enables safe working at height and difficult places. Working technique originated from caving and began to be applied in industry on oil platforms in the North Sea in the 1980s. This was seen early that rope access was a quick and effective alternative against the scaffolding and cranes.
All employees at ProAccess are trained in SPRAT which is an international system from the United States. Working with rope under the stringent demands of SPRAT offer unparalleled security and flexibility.
The working procedures and methods have since spread from the platforms and in the country. More and more people are discovering the benefits of rope access and is used today in everything from window cleaning and other maintenance on the towers to advanced inspections on the world’s tallest and most famous buildings and infrastructure projects. Working methods have evolved since its inception and today there are several educational working methods to be safe and effective.
By using rope access for inspection, assembly and maintenance in hard to reach places and high altitudes are given the following advantages:
