Mast
In this training we go through both theoretically and practically what the law says regarding mast work. As a mast is very exposed to the wind makes the mast work is very demanding.
We go through how to rescue a person from a mast if an accident should occur. This training will allow you to safely and confidently work in mastering the personal security and possibly expensive equipment.
Validity: 3 years
Requirements: Passed results of theoretical and practical tests, and approved ECG. Read below.
Duration: 2 days 8 hours
Equipment: All necessary equipment is provided by Proaccess.
The course cost includes breakfast and lunch.
Important points before this training
This training must be 2 days according to AFS 2000: 6, and the student must have completed work-EKG successfully and physical examination before approval certificate can be issued.
What does the law say?
Should I work in a mast over 13 meters, it is the law to have the mast certificates.
It is the employer’s responsibility to ensure that staff have appropriate training and the right equipment. Something to keep in mind is also that your equipment will undergo inspection by a “competent person” at least once a year.
