Rescue from pole
According to AFS 2000:6 Mast and-pole work is a requirement that one must have knowledge to take down a person in distress from a pole or mast. Rescue from pillar is the mandatory rescue training. It can be equated course in pole climbing.
This is not mast climbing training according to AFS 2000:6
* A review of various market where rescue kits.
* Display of the various harnesses and equipment.
* Understanding of risk analysis and emergency plan.
* Practical test to take down persons in distress, (a man rappelling).
* Practical test to take down the person in distress from the beam, (2 man abseiling).
* Practical test to take care of the injured.
Validity: 3 years
Requirements: Participants must be 18 years old, Private stolpklätterutrustning approved, the participant must be able to first aid certificate.
Duration: 8 hours
Equipment: All necessary equipment is provided by Proaccess.
The course cost includes breakfast and lunch.
This course can be combined with first aid and CPR training.
