SPRAT
SPRAT stands for the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians and the international system and comes from the United States. The system is based on different levels, which you can read about below. Examination Day is done by an independent evaluator.
Validity: 3 years
Requirements: Passed results of theoretical and practical tests
Duration: 5 days 8 hours including 1 today examinationsdag.
Equipment: All necessary equipment is provided by Proaccess.
The course cost includes breakfast and lunch.
Level 1: Worker
First instep. No prior knowledge is required. Works only in rope. Make retesting every three years.
Level 2: Technician
500 logged hours in ropes before you can get to level 2. Do simpler rigging and may have some responsibility. Make retesting every three years.
Level 3: Supervisor
1000 logged hours in ropes before you can get to level 3. Have total responsibility at work, stand for work plans, risk assessments and emergency plans. Make retesting every three years.
